On Saturday the 5th of December  it was special day for the First Holy Communion for the 3 classes from Bun Scoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh in Rushbrooke. Having patiently waited since May and  missing out in the 2nd lock down in October they were thrilled on a bitterly cold day, to receive their First Holy Communion. Great credit is due to the boys and girls themselves, their parents and guardians and their teachers.

Busy day School chaplain Fr Aquin Casey had a very  busy day presiding over the 3 ceremonies at 10am. 12pm and 2pm and was assisted at holy communion time with Fr Tom, Fr Paul and Fr. Liam
