<p>Brilliant 4-2 win for the u13As away to Ringmahon today.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Team performed excellently and work hard for each other.&nbsp;</p>

<p>20 of our U9 Hurlers attended Castlemartyr on Thursday 12th May. The team played 3 games each against Kiltha Óg. Both teams had equal numbers making for a competitive and worthwhile outing - all the kids thoroughly enjoyed the games</p>

<p>Well done to Adam Lynch, Mark O'Rourke, Colm O'Neill and Adam McCormack who all made debuts in this league over the last 2 games well done lads 👏🏻</p>

<p>We truly know the meaning of the word!&nbsp;</p>
<p>We put in place the beautiful community herb boxes created by the Cobh Mens Shed and funded by Cobh Tidy Towns. With the co operation of Cobh Community College and Park Road Day Centre they have been placed near the College by the footpath and just inside the entrance of the Day Centre. The idea is that passers by can take a cutting of any of the herbs to use at home and they can be used by students in the school as well as users of and residents of Park Road. Choose from basil, thyme, oregano, mint, sage, chives, strawberry mint and coriander. Now we have 4 community herb  gardens in Cobh.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Volunteers also removed bulbs from containers &amp; boats in preparation for summer flowers. The last section of railing by the Cathedral was painted. Litter was picked and roadside verges were swept. The flags in the Promenade were replaced as they had become faded and weathered. A cuppa courtesy of Truly Scrumptious was very much welcomed and appreciated to finish.</p>
<p>6 more sleeps to our entry form being submitted so the heat is well and truly on to ensure fair representation of the mighty work done across the community in Cobh over the last year.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
