Do you have time on your hands? Do you want to get involved? Do you want to meet up with other men? Do you want to work with the community? All welcome.&nbsp;
Currently they are sowing vegetables in raised beds,casting garden gnomes and&nbsp;
they have been known to break out a guitar for sing songs, some story telling and plentiful cups of tea. We’re looking forward to working with them on a project this year so watch this space!&nbsp;
<h3>Ramblers ready for City test .....</h3>
As Cobh Ramblers FC continue their build up to the first "Cork Derby" on Friday manager Darren Murphy gave his thoughts on the huge clash.
Eventhough it's a local derby Darren stated that preparations this week have been the same as any other away game and that they are concentrating on their own performance from the first two games and looking at where they can improve for Friday.
While disappointed not to win last week against Treaty Utd Darren is reasonably happy with the performance levels of the two games so far as the team gels together and that a clearer picture will be seen after 6 or so games.
Turners Cross will be a huge opportunity for the players to go showcase their talents to a large crowd at one of the best venues to play football.
Darren feels that the home crowd will expect Cork City to win and hopefully that might put a bit of extra pressure on them and that Ramblers will need to be organised and have their concentration levels right for 90mins.
After big crowds attended Ramblers first two home matches a large number are expected to travel up from Cobh and it is fantastic that spectators can now get out and support their teams and it should be a great occasion.
Dale Holland also in attendance and one of the ex Cork City players in the squad said everyone is working hard this week. He expects a fast competitive game and that they need to have their work done and be ready for the challenge on Friday.

New Cobh Toastmasters Club brings the skill of Public Speaking and an opportunity for Personal Development, to residents of Cobh and surrounding Areas.
Cork's newest Toastmasters Club - Cobh Toastmasters was launched by John Keating on Monday, 7th March, 2022 at the Commodore Hotel and is supported by Cobh Chamber of Commerce.
John has a long history with Toastmasters and has successfully launched several clubs in Division A over the years. He explained to the guests how a successful Toastmasters meeting should be run as well as profiling the roles involved. He answered all questions from the enthusiastic audience.
The Club meets every Monday night @ 7pm - 9:30pm in the Commodore Hotel, go along and bring a friend - all welcome.
Division A wish John, his Committee and the members of Cobh Toastmasters the very best of luck.&nbsp;
