<p>And we’re off! Well done to these fantastic Junior Litter Pickers who were out with Cork County Council Litter Warden Clodagh this morning. The 6th class students from the Gaelscoil did a great clean up down town Top of the Hill, Old Street and the cathedral carpark. The initiative is open to any 6th class group who want to get out and help litter pick around their school neighbourhood. Big thanks to all of you today.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">The boys in Mrs Ahern’s 3rd and Ms Murphy’s 3rd/4th had a great time at the athletics blitz today in the presence of Sonia.</span></p>
<h3><span style="color: rgb(184,49,47);">Basketball</span></h3>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">It’s a busy week ahead for our club with lots of action later this week and at the weekend. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">Our U15 girls take on Mallow in the championship semifinal on Thursday. The Senior ladies play Midleton in the championship semifinal on Thursday and play Crosshaven in the league on Sunday night. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">Our U16 girls take part in the All Ireland Club Championships in Gormanston at the weekend while our U14 girls take part in the Johnny Murphy Invitational Tournament in Mallow. Our U10 girls have some games in Kanturk on Saturday as well. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">Our U20 men play Skibbereen in the CCBB U20B championship final on Saturday afternoon while the Men’s Division 2 side play Ballincollig in the championship final on Sunday morning. The afternoon sees Cobh U18B Men play Carrigaline in their championship final. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">All in all, a busy weekend lies ahead for our club. Great reward for the efforts put in by all players, coaches and parents.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">Congrats to Timmy Wilk joint Minor Hurling Capt who led Cork in the first game in  defence of their Munster and All-Ireland crowns, defeating Kerry on a scoreline of 3-25 to 0-11 Timmy contributed 1-1 from play.</span></p>
