I am an artist working full time in Cork since 1996.&nbsp;
I have never had a visit from one Curator or Arts Administrator in relation to my work.&nbsp;
SHAME ON The Curators OF CORK, Arts Officers, and Arts Administrators with all the power have no interest in promoting Irish Artists.
They all think its better to have International Artists who do Conceptual Art on their CV's
IRISH ARTISTS HAVE NO CHANCE BECAUSE OF THE SPOILED ENTITLED PEOPLE RUNNING THE ARTS IN IRELAND.

Bunscoil Rinn An Chabhlaigh NATIONAL CHAMPIONS FOR INNOVATION IN STEM AT BSRAC!&nbsp;
&nbsp;We are so delighted to have won the national title for 'Most Innovative Project' at the Intel Mini Scientist Competition!
Over 4,000 students from 18 Counties took part in this competition and we took the prize home to Cobh!
Comhghairdeas to Ruadhán, Lucy, Harry and Adam from Mr. Stephenson's Sixth Class whose project, 'The Bin Attachment Recycling Tool', explored the use of QR Coding to assist those who are visually impaired in making more environmentally sustainable choices through recycling.

This seasonal job provides an opportunity for candidates to work in a fun outdoor environment and receive training as an Activity Instructor including Archery, Grass Sledging, Team Building, Zipline &amp; Climbing wall for suitable candidates.
We are looking for candidates who enjoy working and building confidence with young people. Outdoor Activity experience is preferred. Full training will also be provided. Previous experience working with children an advantage. Garda vetting will be required.
Candidates will need to be available for weekends and week days for May, June &amp; July 2022.

TY Activity- Day 3-Week-Workshops:&nbsp;
Wednesday last saw our TY students connect with a local charity and learn new skills in the form of Origami, Magic, Movement and Dance and a visit to Cobh Rescue Horses.&nbsp;
Thank you to Mr. Hickey, Mr. Johnston, Naomi our choreographer and Mrs J. Dowell for giving their time, talents, knowledge and skills last Wednesday.&nbsp;

The Hidden Mountain, the Fort and the Five Trees
The Irish, Cork County-based artist Marie Brett’s exhibition The Hidden Mountain, the Fort and the Five Trees features works that consider social, psychological, allegorical, and mystical methods of processing trauma, conflict, and control. The exhibition is Brett’s first survey show, and the most comprehensive presentation of her work to date. It brings together a commissioned, newly made installation; a group of past films alongside the premiere of her latest film; and an eclectic display of objects, texts, photographs, and videos documenting and reimagining other installations produced in recent years. It facilitates a critical review of Brett’s practice, repositioning and furthering her idiosyncratic voice and style within the Irish art scene.

The Cabinet has agreed a cut in excise duty on petrol and diesel. The reduction will be 20 cent per litre on petrol and 15 cent per litre of diesel.
<h3>Bishopstown Lions Club 5K Charity Race</h3>
Dear Father Kelleher Great to talk earlier today. I am writing about the 5k Charity Race, organised by Bishopstown Lions Club on 27 March Next. This will take place on an approved 5k course starting and finishing at MTU.
It will also traverse the nearby Murphys Farm Riverside Pathway and some local Public Roads.It will have Chip Timing Technology for the Participants.
The Race will start at 11 am sharp and entry details and Beneficiary Charities are outlined on the attached eflyer

The Orchards have been planted in St Mary’s NS, Walterstown NS, Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh, Carrignafoy Community College, Colaiste Muire, Cuskinny Court, Cobh Allotments and The Mount.&nbsp;
Orchards provide vital green spaces in our cities and towns, where people are encouraged to interact with nature either through becoming custodians of the trees or by simply being around them and enjoying their shade, beauty and fruit. They are also important habitats as the natural life cycle of fruit trees provides food sources for pollinators and other species throughout the year. With “Orchards in the Community”, orchards are being planted in every single county on the island of Ireland - both in the Republic and Northern Ireland - making this an all Ireland effort.

The first 'live" AGM since the stat of Covid took place at the Commodore Hotel On Wednesday night. Seamus O"Connell replaced Pat Feen as President, Tony Reddin replaced Tom Plunkett as captain Marian Britton is the new Lady Capt, taking over from Mary O'Grady, Des McKee continues as treasurer.
