Brilliant entertainment at Strictly Cobh Dancing extravaganza at the Commodore Hotel in aid of Cobh hospital. Three dance off to decide the winners indeed all participants were winners and of Cobh hospital the beneficiaries. The overall winners from Thursday was decided by a three way dance off. A busy weekend for Cobh football clubs kicks off on Friday night with Cobh Ramblers opening their 2022 SSE First Division campaign at home to Wexford FC who opened their own account last weekend with a 5-1 home drubbing by Treaty Utd. This game sees an old Ramblers favourite, Goalkeeper Paul Hunt (Hunty) return to St.Colmans Park but this time between the sticks for 'The Youths'. Kick-off at St.Colmans Park 7.45pm.
Springfield AFC fixture v Central Rovers has been moved from Sunday to Friday Night at the Old Church park Stephen Ireland Astro at 7.45pm.
Two games, and both 2pm kick-offs, lined up for decision on Saturday as Cobh Wanderers seniors travel to Avondale Park to face old rivals Avondale Utd in the Munster Senior League Premier Division and in the Cork Youth Leagues Springfield Ramblers U17's make the short trip to Little Island to take on Leeside in a League 1A battle.
On Sunday Cobh Wanderers Juniors A travel to Knockgriffin to face Midleton FC in the Beamish Stout Junior League Div 4, at 10.45am.
Sunday afternoon sees Springfield Ramblers U18s away at O'Shea Park as the line up against Blarney Utd in the Cork Youth League 2.

The draw has taken place for the knock out phase of the pan Munster Cup competitions where both PIRATES RFC 16s and 18s squads have qualified for. 16s are w/e 5th March and 18s are w/e 12th March
The very best of luck to both teams, and a massive well done in the achievement of reaching the 1/4 finals stage.&nbsp;
