<p>Following on from the very successful 1st Cobh Repair Cafe we are happy to announce the 2nd Repair Cafe will take place in St Benedicts Priory in Cobh on Saturday 30th April from 10-12. 🪚🔨🪛🪑✂️🚲💻📱🪡👖</p>
<p>There will be people there to help show you how to fix things,the sharing of knowledge rather than just having someone fix your stuff. Bring along your small electrical items, clothes, toys, bicycles, small furniture or tech items for advice on computers or smart phones!&nbsp;</p>
<p>There will be a table with renewable energy information where people interested in getting further information or participating in renewable energy events that will happen in Cobh through ‘The Sustainable Communities’ group in the future can register interest.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There will be items that can be reused rather than disposable items on display.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Cobh Repair Cafe brings people together in a social cafe style setting to share and learn the practical know how to make our community more sustainable.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Tea &amp; Coffee will be available and don’t forget your containers for Lilly’s Eco refills.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As part of Cobh’s journey to becoming a more sustainable community, we are hoping to run the repair cafe 2/3 times a year, if there are people on The Great Island that have expertise in fixing things and like sharing their knowledge, please let us know. Contact Anna 086 359 3767.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><span style="color: rgb(184,49,47);">MSC Magnifica visits</span></h3>

<p>MSC Magnifica arrived on Tuesdayand the town was abuzz with excitement at the sight of her towering over her berth at the deep water quay.</p>
<p>There was a large crowd on the quayside in the dimming evening light to wave her off including Mona, Irene and Barry from the team as well as the fabulous Cobh Band who entertained all with some great music.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>As she headed off out the harbour the strains of 'Time to say Goodbye' could be heard from the decks and we look forward to seeing her again along with many more liners.</p>

<p>As the season approaches its end, another big weekend beckons for PIRATES RFC  this week. There are 3 teams competing in finals over the 2 days. The 14s play Skibbereen RFC on Saturday in Curaheen Road at 12pm. On Sunday at the same venue our 16s play Bandon Rugby in the final of the South Munster League at 1.30pm, while also on Sunday our Juniors will take on Thurles Rfc in the Munster Junior Plate final in Musgrave Park, with a 3pm kick off.
