<p>Another great Saturday  morning work painting more of the railings along by The Rock and beginning the big job of hand weeding the beds on the Five Foot Way. Litterpicking done throughout the town too. Thanks to Truly Scrumptious Caterers Cobh for the generous coffees again after our mornings work. Town is looking fantastic for all our Easter Weekend visitors. Have a lovely time and enjoy the treats on Easter Sunday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last January our volunteer Jim started intense rust removal and priming on the railings across the road from St Colman's Cathedral. A big team of our volunteers have been applying the finish coat every Saturday morning since.</p>
<p>Together with the work being carried out by Cobh Parish on the railings within the Cathedral grounds the whole area will look magnificent very soon.</p>

<p>The girls were very unlucky not to progress to the quarter finals today only losing out by 2 points in their final game. The girls had a  great win earlier in the day v Bandon who went on to win the group. Well done girls 👏👏👏</p>

<p>On Saturday our U15 team took part in the group stages of the annual John West, Féile na nGael competition, with Mayfield GAA hosting the games.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We were grouped with Castlelyons and Fr. O'Neills. The boys topped their group in a round robin schedule of games, qualifying for today's group stage final against Lisgoold.</p>
<p>The sides were level after an exciting first half.  The lads left it all out on the pitch in the second half but just ran out of gas in the end.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>They represented themselves, their families, their community and their Club with pride and skill and made their coaches very proud today.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tee times are available for our 3 person team event tomorrow.</p>
<p>The format is stableford off the white tees with 1 score to count on holes 1-9 2 scores to count on hole 10 1 score to count on holes 11-17 and all 3 scores to count on 18th.</p>
<p>Please be mindful that tomorrows competition is a team event and late withdrawals should be avoided.</p>
<p>Remaining winter league scores may be played tomorrow on a separate card.</p>
