Lovely evening meeting and greeting at the Gala Dinner on the occasion of the British Titanic Society 2022 Convention held in the Commodore Hotel. Guests included Cllr Cathal Rasmussen, Deputy Mayor of Cork County, Johanna Murphy, President of Cobh &amp; Harbour Chamber and Michael Martin, Titanic Trail.&nbsp;&nbsp;
We were delighted to be invited by the Society to help enhance the visitor experience to Cobh and the Convention events for the delegates over the last three days. We hope that you all enjoyed your visit to our beautiful town and we wish you all a safe journey back home.&nbsp;
<h3> Good win for under 14 footballers</h3>

Well done to our U14 team who won their first league match by a point tonight on a score of 5-7 to 6-3 against Lisgoold. Cobh were well on top in the first half with goals from Áine Leahy, Rachel Barrett and Isabelle O’Connell and 2 points a piece from Lucy Walsh and Rachel. Emma O’Shea was dominating at half back and delivered plenty of ball up the pitch. Cobh were ahead at half time. Second half saw Lisgoold come well into the game scoring four goals and two points in all in that half. Cobh dug deep and with goals from Molly Verling and Rachel Barrett and points from Rachel and Isabelle the girls got over the line with a one point win. Well done to everyone on a great team performance.

Massive well done to these young Cobh Pirates lining out for Munster 17s yesterday. Winger Casey Whelan bagged 2 tries in their 17.10 win over Ulster. Oskar Olszewski played on the other wing and a year up from his club rugby, while Alex Hamilton played in the front row having only made the positional switch in recent weeks. Well done lads, the whole club is very proud of you&nbsp;&nbsp;

Giving Carrigaline a 3 goal start is never a good idea but the girls showed great heart and determination to get back in the game with 2 goals late in the game. Who know what another 5 minutes would have brought but unfortunately it wasn't to be and congratulations to Carrigaline&nbsp;
