Ballymore Cobh Athletic Club are excited to host the 'Sonia O’Sullivan Cobh 10' Road Race on 3rd April 2022 at 10.30am 
The race was formerly known as 'The Great Island Road Race' and is as a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society. 
Our 2022 race will be a fundraiser for the Breakthrough Cancer Research and the further development of Ballymore Cobh AC’s Juvenile facilities, Irelands future athletes! 
Real entry fee =25 euro plus 2.50 postage
Entry includes, chipped race number &amp; mug.
Virtual entry fee = 10 euro
Both entries have an optipn to purchase event t-shirt posted. T-shirts will be posted out in batches by size / date ordered the week before event with remaining after event.

Cork County Council Municipal District Community Fund Scheme 2022

Cork County Council is committed to supporting local communities across County Cork. Financial assistance for community &amp; voluntary groups and local organisations is available through the Community Fund Scheme 2022. This scheme is administered by the 8 Municipal District Offices around County Cork and there are three separate funding schemes depending on the nature and cost of your proposal.
Funding is available under this scheme for 3 distinctive project or proposal types: 
 1. Capital Fund Scheme - for community groups, sporting and local organisations in County Cork who wish to undertake infrastructural projects costing over €20,000 that will improve the range or quality of community-based facilities within their area e.g. community halls, sporting facilities, etc. 
2. Community Contract - for Tidy Towns groups who work with Cork County Council on local works and projects, agreed with the Municipal District Officer and local Area Engineer that enhance the area in which the group is active. For the Community Contract it is strongly recommended that you contact your Area Engineer and Municipal District Officer to discuss your proposals before you apply. 
3. Amenity Fund Scheme - for community groups, sporting and local organisations in County Cork who wish to undertake projects or purchase equipment that directly benefits communities and meets particular needs. Projects being applied for under this scheme must cost less than €20,000

The 2022 Community Fund Scheme opens to applicants at 10am on Wednesday, 12th January 2022, and the closing date for receipt of completed applications is 4pm on Tuesday, 15th February 2022.
