<p>When one winning teams claps home the other ! Super day for our 16s and 18s. Many of the lads will join forces next season while others move onto our 20s age grade. Well done to all of the players and coaches providing the club sone fantastic games and standards of rugby.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Not to be for our fantastic 14s who played a brilliant final against Mallow RFC earlier today, narrowly coming short 21.26. Well done to Mallow. Great season for these lads, with many more to come. Well done, the club are so proud of you all.</p>

<p>Fantastic performance from our U15 footballers at Féile today who won the Division 1 group stage qualifiers final this afternoon against Aghada.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The squad won their first 3 group games this morning at Castlemartyr GAA club. With wins against St. Colman's, Mayfield and Kiltha Óg, the team qualified for the group finals this afternoon against Aghada.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The boys came out on top with outstanding performances from all the lads against a competitive Aghada side.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Best of luck to the boys who travel to Blarney on Monday afternoon for the Divisional Semi Finals. Well done to all the players and coaches and thank you to Castlemartyr GAA for the hosting the games.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Saturday morning saw one of our U11 girls team travel to Leeside. And what a game it was. Each and everyone of the girls played absolutely fantastic football and you can really see that all their effort at training is paying off. The game was end to end.</p>

<p>Great morning at the Cobh Repair Cafe with Cobh Zero Waste &amp; Cobh Tidy Towns in St Benedicts Priory. Thanks so much to all who gave their skills and time to share knowledge.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Hope everyone enjoyed it and are going home happier! We are planning to do this again this year so keep your items that need to be fixed rather than throwing out!</p>

<p>The last April Saturday of many very busy ones!   We covered every approach road to the town centre with litterpicking. Don’t ask how many bags 🫣The fence at the park on Westview was cleaned. More weeding took place on the Watersedge and at the Carrigaloe mural. Some of us headed along to the Cobh Repair Cafe to have some items repaired and talk solar energy with Cobh residents who have solar panels installed.  A cuppa then to wind it all up.</p>

<p>Two of these cast iron benches were stolen in the early hours of Saturday 30th April from Cobh. They may come up for sale soon, so if you spot these distinctive pieces for sale, give Cobh Garda Station a call 24/7 on 021 4908530.</p>

<p>Our U14s were out in action today and put in another superb performance all the girls got game time they are proving to be very consistent in their results todate.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Future looks bright for this great bunch or girls.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They also collectively congratulated one of their team mates Chloe Cashman in her success yesterday in her honour of Captaining Cork U14 Camogie  team a massive achievement.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Well done to all involved keep up the great work.</p>

<p>Well done to the Junior footballers who went top of East Cork division 1 league after 5 games with a very good display last night against Lisgoold. Leading 1-8 to 0-3 at half time, Cobh had to dig deep and found another gear to take the points 2-13 to 0-10.</p>
<p>Special mentions to Sean Cummins, Eoghan Kidney, George Rasmussen, Adam Stanton and Conor Kidney who played very well to name a few. Cobh scorers Cian Spriggs 1-4, Darragh Heelan 0-5, Eoin Hastings 0-4, Jack Ronan 1-0.</p>
<p>Next up is an away fixture versus Carrignavar on Sunday May 15th at 12pm. Up the forties&nbsp;</p>
