However, an unforeseen obstacle throws the entire family; Wednesday Addams is in love with a “normal” boy. Chaos ensues as the young couple bring together their families for dinner with the Addams worrying about how quickly things are changing.&nbsp;
A poignant and comical spin on the story of love, friendship, and adversity with a touch of the macabre.&nbsp;

Sunday saw the pinnacle of Munster juvenile club rugby, with 3 of the 4 cup finals being held in a sunny Musgrave Park. Pirates 18.5s were the sole Cork club representatives, as they faced up to Waterpark Rfc in the final of the 18.5s competition. Last Autumn 48 clubs began the conference phase, with just 2 remaining going toe to toe for the coveted title of Munster Champions.&nbsp;

In ideal conditions the enticing encounter offered up everything it had promised and more to the large attending crowd. Waterpark themselves had a large support, having 2 teams in action on the day, however it felt like the people from the Great Island closed the door behind them as they went over Belvelly Bridge, with a massive show of support in attendance.&nbsp;
From the kick off it was evident that both sides were there to play rugby, Pirates going wide on their first attack and equally Waterpark also looking for holes in the Pirates defence. A kick to the corner was chased by the left winger, finding just enough space to get it over the line in the corner. A superb conversion by the Waterford out half added the 2 points with only 5 minutes gone on the clock.&nbsp;
It was only a few minutes later that Casey Whelan created space, making his way into the Tramore Road 22-yard area. Some quick thinking by Saul Kahn forced a defensive error and a Pirates scrum in the green zone. Aaron Quirke released center Jack Worral on a lethal line to score Pirates opening try, Adam Lynch obliging with the 2 points to draw level.&nbsp;
Quirke was shortly back in action again, this time himself running the hard line aggressively and making 40 meters, before off loading to Kahn in support, who too the ball and a defender over the line to score Pirates 2nd try, Lynch tapping over to go 14-7.&nbsp;
Only 3 minutes later, no 8 Sean Edogbo went on a trade mark barrage, linking with Jack Grant and Casey Whelan , Kahn on hand again to get his 2nd and Prates 3rd try. With the score line 19-4, the crowd barely caught their breath before Waterpark returned the favour, a quick tap penalty saw them get their second try, the conversion attempt just wide of the upright. Half time closed in as the score line remained 19-14 in Pirates favour.&nbsp;
When play resumed, Waterpark enjoyed a dominating period, notching over a penalty on the 7th minute to get back within 2 points. On the quarter hour mark, 3 points went amiss however soon after a try mitigated the deficit another quick tap putting Waterpark back in front 19-22.&nbsp;
Pirates scrum half, Mark O'Rourke drove his forwards on from the restart, with several telling carries by Ben Murphy and Sean Edogbo. The Pirates pack were starting to get in the better of the close encounters, and on one such carry Edogbo powerd over near the upright, giving Lynch a tap over to go 26-22 in front with 12 minutes remaining.&nbsp;
True to form and the pace of this game, Waterpark came straight back down the field to cross the line again from a series of pick and go’s. A single point now separated the teams with a tense 6 minutes remaining.&nbsp;
The Pirates team threw everything they had at the Waterpark defence from the remaining minutes, newly introduced Donagh McNamara and Luke Ahern carrying hard and direct. In the dying minutes, Sean Edogbo received a pop pass 5 meters from the line and there was no stopping him as he carried the ball to touch down for Pirates, and the games last try. Lynch, cool as a breeze, along slotted over to bring Pirates to 33 points. Soon after the play resumed, Pirates were awarded a penalty, which was taken quickly by Lynch, a quick tap to himself followed by a kick into the supporting crowd to bring the game to a conclusion, Pirates winning an absolute spectacle of a game 33-27. The entire team and squad gave absolutely everything they had in, what everyone in attendance agreed, was an encounter of the highest level.
The final was all about 70 minutes of pace, power and skill from both sides, the victory was all about the work and effort the entire squad from 1 to 33 have put in since last September. The players and coaching staff deserve all the credit for this historic occasion.&nbsp;
Massive thanks to Waterpark for a superb final, played in the best spirits of rugby.&nbsp;

To all the sporting clubs, organisations and groups who sent messages of support, it meant a huge amount to this great group of lads. And to the families, friends and fellow Pirates, thank you for the unbelievable support on Sunday and throughout the season. Last but not least, big thanks to Steve Davis for his ongoing support and sponsorship for the Juvenile section of Cobh Pirates.
Junior League 1 result: Everton Utd. 0-6 Cobh Wanderers. 
Wanderers were clinical in front of goal today and made light work of the Everton challenge to pick up three big points in the fight to avoid the drop from division 1. Wanderers first came after 20 minutes set up by Oisin Cronin with a cross that found Jamie Gilmartin and his low drive found the net under the body of the home keeper. Cronin grabbed the second himself after a scramble in the box he was on hand to finish from close in. Jack McCarthy completed the first half scoring on 38 minutes when he tucked away a near post cross from Gilmartin. Seven minutes into the second half McCarthy put a superb lob over the keeper for a great finish to make it four nil. It should have been 4-0 earlier in the half when Cronin drilled a great shot past the keeper. The ball went through a hole in the net, everyone in the ground except the ref knew it was a goal but his decision was what counted, and Cronin was denied his double. Gilmartin scored Wanderers fifth on 64 minutes of the game in which he wants it known that he contributed two goals and three assists….well done Jamie. His final assist allowed McCarthy to grab a well-deserved hat trick and spark a celebration to match. Well done to all involved today.

After a scintillating display of rugby, Cobh edged out Waterpark 33-27 at Musgrave Park yesterday afternoon. We are delighted with the amount of publicity we get from sponsoring such a great team and club .
<h2>Pirates Juniors complete a memorable week-end</h2>
Yesterday our Juniors finished their league campaign in the best possible fashion with a convincing win in Waterford. The lads, many of whom are in their first or second year of adult rugby, enjoyed a top of the table finish bolstering a strong run since Christmas. The effort from the squad is reflected in the campaign, taking points from every encounter.&nbsp;

The Junior A footballers picked up another point this afternoon in Páirc Uí Chonaill against Carrigtwohill. Playing 40 minutes with 14 men meant the players had to dig deep but 8 points from Diarmuid Kearney and a nice finish from Adam Hastings for the game's only goal in the first half meant a share of the points with the visitors. On to a trip to Youghal in 2 weeks time.

Following on from our visit last week from Colm Damery of Cobh Tidy Towns Beavers each planted seeds tonight to do our bit for the bumblebees and biodiversity! These seeds were specially chosen to suit the bees, and each Beaver will care for their own plant at home. We used the occasion to honour the memory of Bob Thompson, our founder member who has gone home. We hope that these flowers will bloom in Bob’s honour year after year all around Cobh

We were delighted to be asked by Walterstown School and SuperValu to give a talk today to their pupils about Bumblebees, volunteering and Cobh Tidy Towns. 🐝
Jackie, our School Liason Officer spoke briefly about our role in Tidy Towns and John Paul from SuperValu spoke about their current Save the Bees campaign.
Colm gave a great presentation on our native Bumblebees, Pollination and how we can all do our bit to ensure our Bees thrive especially here in Great Island.&nbsp;
The kids were very engaged, full of enthusiasm and had lots of questions for our Bee expert. Thanks to Walterstown for having us
