<p>Huge congratulations to Cobh’s Jimmy Bruen Team for taking down a big scalp in The Douglas team 3-2 with the last game going down the 21st hole .</p>
<h3>&nbsp;LADIES COBH V MONKSTOWN</h3>
<p>Our ladies minor team were narrowly defeated by Monkstown ladies in Monkstown Golf Course&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;Our Team was Mary Feen, Teresa Delius, Rosaire Higgins, Jacqui O’Regan Diane O’Regan, and Team Manager Mary O’Grady.</p>

<p>The 🐝 "Bee Team" 🐝 were delighted to be invited today to Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh to give a talk all about bumblebees on our Great Island.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Colm &amp; Jackie from Cobh Tidy Towns  with John Paul from Garvey's Supervalu Cobh went along.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The fruit trees the children planted last year are thriving and more work will commence soon on their gardens which we are looking forward to seeing.Only a few weeks left to collect cards for the SV Save The Bees campaign.</p>

<p>We had a fantastic launch event of Fiona Kelly's solo show this past Saturday 7 May. We want to thank all who joined us in the panel discussion with the artist, the curator Rayne Booth and Miguel Amado, our director and the exhibition's curator.</p>

<p>Congratulations to the b boys under 15 team whom defeated Kinsale this  Monday evening in Kinsale. Although behind by 11 points mid way through the 2nd half they finished with a flourish to win by 11.. Well done to all involved.</p>

<p>Dear Liam,</p>
<p>It is proposed to commence the Senior Men's Foursomes Matchplay, the "Crowley Memorial Cup" in early June.</p>
<p>The Competition will be Scotch Foursomes Matchplay confined to Senior Male Members over the age of 60.</p>
<p>Stroke allowanced for Matches will be half of the combined Handicap Index difference rounded. All Matches will be played off the Yellow Markers.</p>
<p>Qualified Members interested in playing in this event are asked to place their Names on the "Entry Sheet" which will be available in the Gents Locker Room and/or the Pro Shop from Wednesday 11 may.</p>
<p>Closing date for Entries will be Wednesday 25 May, with the Draw taking place in the Clubhouse of Thursday 26 May at 4 PM.</p>

<p>Everyone at the club wish to send their condolences to Committee member Stephen Mulcahy and his wife Sinead on the passing of Sinead's mam Mary. Also her granddaughters Caitlin and Aisling who are members of the club. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.&nbsp;</p>
