What an exciting weekend we had with the return of the Cork City Marathon. The anticipation of the June bank holiday is back!!
Just wanted to congratulate our members while the endorphins were still flying high.
The streets were full of family &amp; friends all cheering &amp; encouraging these ambitious &amp; tenacious athletes. It was tremendous to see and feel the crowds atmosphere again here in Cork city. Unfortunately there wasn’t a bottle of sun cream to be seen.&nbsp;
Ballymore Cobh AC had many members join the thousands of athletics participating in the full marathon of 42.2km &amp; the half marathon of 21.1km.
Half Marathon we had:

This weekends competition is the Karl David O Connell Memorial throphy with fantastic prizes including longest drive and nearest to the pin.
