<p>Tidy Towns Adjudication time is just a week away and we &amp;  residents of Cobh are out ensuring that Cobh is at its best for all to enjoy. With Cork Harbour Festival in full swing this weekend and the Emerald Princess docked today the town is buzzing. During the week Hendrick &amp; Ronan loosened and cleared the big kerbside weeds all along the high wall at Rushbrooke Station. What a job. This morning we hired a road sweeper from 6am to 11am to do a thorough job along here, the High and Lower Roads and their footpaths where CE scheme workers Paul &amp; Julius had strimmed weeds during the week. West View is looking pristine after the sweeper too and the difference on the streets visited is profound! The gate at Old Church Cemetery got a facelift. Eileen &amp; Frans completed the pillar painting at The Anchorage. The gate at the Cathedral Carpark was scraped and prepped for painting while there was litter picking and kerbside sweeping around town today too. Thanks to everyone for their work this week. <h3>What a difference a day makes. Welcomed with open arms to the Irish schools athletics in Tullamore on Saturday, a stark contrast to Cork Primary school sport MTU Friday. Got a ticket for dinner which I will hardly use too busy taking pictures. My faith in mankind restored.</h3>
