<p>This is for young people at Secondary school level, ideally. You do not need to have previous filmmaking or acting experience. One-day filmmaking workshops took place in many Secondary Schools in Cobh, Carrigtwohill and surrounding areas during 2021/2022 - for those who enjoyed the experience both at the workshop and the short film which was made we would encourage you to apply.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Local Clean Coasts volunteers took advantage of the good weather today to do a litter pick from Marlogue to Ballbrassil,&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you're out and about and enjoying our beautiful coastline, please leave nothing but footprints behind you!</p>

<p>A new chapter opens in Cobh Pirates RFC very soon, with training for our 20s squad officially starting this coming Wednesday July 6th. As this is a skills training session, it is open to this years 18.5s squad also. All in the club are looking forward to the exciting 2022/23 season ahead</p>

<p>A Temporary Iteration</p>
<p>Fiona Kelly addresses themes of ecology and society. Her solo show A Temporary Iteration addresses the esker's ruination from extractivist activity through an imagined topography made of sculpture, moving image and sound. A series of events organised by SIRIUS in dialogue with the artist accompanies the exhibition.</p>

<p>Dr Robert Meehan provides scientific and historical information about the eskers, formed during the last glacial age, delving into their formation and idiosyncrasies as well as exploring their ecological and political importance in Ireland.</p>
<p>Dr Robert Meehan is a geologist and one of Ireland's foremost authorities in applied Quaternary geology and the last Ice Age. He is a consultant in ground analysis, groundwater and surface water protection, site investigation and geodiversity.</p>
