This August, Cobh Pirates are hosting a mixed adult tag rugby tournament as a fundraiser for the upcoming season. Get a group of friends together and come along for what promises to be a great all day event, with food, music and additional minigames throughout the day. Team registration costs €100 for 10 players and includes a post tournament BBQ, as well as a ticket to the finest Specimens from the Cobh Pirates adult section performing the FULL MONTY. Don’t want to play tag, but still want to enjoy the show ? Entrance at the door will be available for €10. So get you friends together and come along for a great day.

SIRIUS is currently taking part in SPACEX (acronym for Spatial Practices in Art &amp; Architecture for Empathetic Exchange), a European Union-funded project that utilises secondments between universities and organisations operating in the field of culture.
At the end of last month, I attended training led by Dr. Mel Jordan and Dr. Andy Hewitt at Coventry University and the LTB Showrooms. Over the course of two days, different affiliated researchers gave presentations on arts-based methods, interruptions in cultural instrumentalism and urban commoning; these topics responded to some of the overarching themes of SPACEX, which include Practices, Urban Subjects, and Archives.
I am undertaking secondments at the Royal College of Art in London, Coventry University and Northampton University as part of my curatorial fellowship at SIRIUS. The first secondment is taking place at the Royal College of Art this upcoming September. I am going to research liquid ecologies in late capitalism in dialogue with Dr. Jaspar Joseph Lester.&nbsp;

Weekend Competition
&nbsp;This weekends competition is July's monthly medal or weekend competition. The Monthly medal is the third of four medal competitions.
Both competitions are Stroke play competitions.
Players can choose either monthly medal off the blue tees or weekend competition off the white tees.
Members can enter either competition on Saturday / Sunday or play club
competition one day and medal on the other day.
First card to count for monthly medal.
A good practice for next weekends Captains Prize.
Bank holiday Monday, Aug 1st, will be a Ladies &amp; Gents Open, 3 ball scramble, €8 for members and €20 for visitors. Time sheets are open for all competitions
