Cobh Classic Car Club were delighted to present a cheque for €1,500 to the Friends of Cobh Hospital. This is a local Hospital that does fantastic work for the Community in Cobh &amp; a very worthwhile charity. These funds were raised from the Clubs Annual Cobh Classic Run that was held on the 25th of June.

The only 2 tennis players from Cork in the finals tomorrow ( national championships) the most prestigious junior tournament in tennis in Ireland. Good luck to both in the final.

The building in which SIRIUS is located served as the headquarters and clubhouse of the Royal Cork Yacht Club from 1854 to 1966. The building is of architectural significance and has a rich historical and cultural legacy.

<h4>Great Minor hurling win for Cobh over Nemo. Needing to win by 2 points to progress things looked bad with time almost up, but Timmy Wilk saved the day, chased by 6 Nemo, players he out ran them and struck an unstoppable ball to the net to fashion the much desired and needed the result. See the picture on his brilliant run.</h4>
