<h3>National Heritage Week begins on Saturday and there are a number of events for anyone interested in Cobh's heritage.&nbsp;</h3>

<h3>Regatta</h3>

<p>The Regatta kids parade will meet at the ClockTower (end of town) on Saturday at 2pm. The parade will come through the town and meet at the Promenade where all the kids competitions will take place. There will be a BONNY BABY and FANCY DRESS COMPETITION also. All kids free to enter, an afternoon of fun in the Promenade that's not to be missed. Always great fun.</p>
<h3>Crab Fishing</h3>

<p>Our famous CRAB FISHING COMPETITION continues this year on Sunday afternoon in the Promenade. Free event everything supplied and guaranteed fun to be had. All welcome.</p>

<p>President Johanna Murphy, Michael Mc Cormack, John Sweeney, and Ann Daly from Cobh and Harbour Chamber enjoyed a visit to Doyle Shipping Group. They were joined by David Stanton TD, James O'Connor TD, local Councillors – Cllr Cathal Rasmussen, Cllr Sheila O’Callaghan, Cllr Anthony Barry, and Cllr Alan O'Connor and Chief Commercial Officer of Port of Cork, Conor Mowlds.</p>
<p>Eoin O’Sullivan and Roger Hill from Doyle Shipping gave an insight into the intrinsic engineering works involved in building these massive Cranes. Liebherr is currently completing work on three STS (ship to shore) container cranes for Maher Terminal in New Jersey, USA.&nbsp;</p>
