<p>Events Run markets and live music in the promenade Cobh during the Summer. We have normally 15 stalls selling locally made food crafts and Jewellery. Always look for unique stalls.</p>

<p>Congratulations to all involved in our garden project which was awarded a gold medal at yesterday's awards ceremony in The County Hall. It is a huge honour for our school garden to be recognised in such a prestigious competition and we would like to acknowledge the efforts of our pupils, staff and school community.</p>

<p>An outstanding 1st Game of the season for our U10s who played Delaneys. Majority of these Girls it was their 1st ever match from the 15 there was 8 new U10 players and 3  U8 players and they didn't disappoint displaying great skill they have learnt ar training over the past few weeks and enjoying fun of playing the game.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Maija Sofia is performing today at Cork Opera House, supporting Sharon Van Etten, an acclaimed singer-songwriter who is touring in Europe following the launch of her latest album, We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong.</p>
<p>Maija was in residency at SIRIUS in 2021 and 2022, researching and writing some new songs for her future album. She found inspiration from our building as well as the narratives and sounds of Cobh and the harbour surrounding us. According to the writer Andrea Cleary, her “subject matter is seldom trivial – abuse, mythological stories, feminism and loss are considered with a confident serenity” (The Irish Times, 50 people to watch in 2019: Ireland’s hottest young talent, 8 January 2019). Her debut album, Bath Time, was launched in 2019 to critical acclaim.</p>
<p>Maija recently undertook a collaboration with the artist Marie Brett to create a soundscape which is currently available to experience as part of Marie’s exhibition ‘The Hidden Mountain, the Fort and the Five Trees’.</p>
