Young people at Chill on The Hill Cafe decided to get involved in The Jolly Box Project to bring Christmas joy to the elderly in the town. This project is in partnership with Cobh Family Resource Centre (CFRC), as part of an active citizen approach to provide extra support to the elderly in Cobh.&nbsp;
The young people created 20 Jolly Boxes and designed Christmas decorations, bookmarks &amp; poems and visited various businesses in Cobh to ask for donations of gifts to put inside the boxes. The businesses contributed very generously to the cause, all of which went into a wrapped shoebox with a view to bringing joy to those that receive a box.&nbsp;
We would like to say a huge thank you to the businesses in Cobh who kindly donated &amp; of course to our wonderful young people who spent many weeks working on the project.
