Formerly known as Victoria Pier and Admiralty Pier. It has witnessed many historic events from survivors coming ashore from the RMS Lusitania to the Moon Car shooting in 1924. In the 1960s it was renamed “Kennedy Pier” following President John F. Kennedy’s visit to Ireland. Nowadays it is primarily used as a departure point for tours to Spike Island and Cork Harbour.
