Annie Moore Statue

Annie Moore was the first emigrant to the United States to pass through Ellis Island in New York. She departed on her fifteenth birthday from Cobh accompanied by her brothers Philip and Anthony, aboard the steamship Nevada on the first of January 1892. This sculpture is made of bronze and created by Jeanne Rynhart from Bantry.
