Woodpoint House

Set in 30 acres of ancient woodland, overlooking Courtmacsherry Bay with views as far as the Old Head of Kinsale, Woodpoint House sits quietly, whiling away the centuries. Trish Gannon has created a tranquil haven on the top of the hill. Far more than a bed and breakfast, Woodpoint House is a home away from home, where guests are made to feel truly welcome with quiet comfort and great food. Woodpoint House stands high up on the south western side of Courtmacsherry Bay, secluded in 30 acres of woodland (carpeted in bluebells in the spring), but only ten minutes easy walk from Courtmacsherry Village below. The old stone buildings, set around a palm-tree-lined courtyard, were originally built as the farm to the Boyle Estate, the main house of which now constitutes the Courtmacsherry Hotel on the seafront below.
