An Sugan Guesthouse

CURRENTLY CLOSED, RETURNING FOR BOOKINGS IN 2021. Our guesthouse is located adjacent to the restaurant in a beautiful Georgian house, which is ideally located on a quiet side street near the centre of town. We have seven comfortable and elegantly furnished en-suite rooms, with full amenities. Our famous full Irish breakfast (and lighter fare) is served every morning. There is much history attached to the guesthouse, which at one time would have overlooked Clonakilty Harbour. The guesthouse was home to Jane Irwin, wife of the Fenian O'Donovan Rossa, and it is said that Charles Stewart Parnell once addressed a crowd from the window.
