Mapbox is a navigation software that is used by hundreds of major companies worldwide, including Strava, Snapchat, and Lonely Planet. It's reliable, accurate, and built into every single one of our mapped hikes and trails.&nbsp;</li>
<li><strong>Elevation and Walking Guides </strong>are available within the hike/trail so that you can come prepared for whatever the route holds. Find out if the area is prone to flooding, what kind of wildlife you can expect to see, and what kind of terrain you should dress for.&nbsp;</li>
<li>You can <strong>check out hikes/trails in other towns</strong> too. If you find yourself on a weekend trip this summer and fancy exploring the area's natural surroundings, there are plenty of local routes to be discovered in our Hikes &amp; Trails section. Click 'Select another town' in the Xplore app menu, and find trails for any one of our 12 towns in Cork, Kerry, Galway, and Carlow.</li>

<h3>One Local Trail to Get You Started</h3>
<p>Check out the Cloonfad River Walk in the Hikes &amp; Trails section of the Xplore Local Castlerea app. This is a lovely looped walk that is connected to the Cloonfad Scenic Walks in the Derrylahan area. Following the course of the river, this route offers lots of peace and quiet and plenty of scenic views. The trailhead is situated about a 20-minute drive from Castlerea.&nbsp;</p>
