Carrigaline

Five players from Carrigaline United have signed for Cork City FC's academy ahead of the 2020 National League season. 
Cian Spillane, Ryan Delaney, Mark O Mahoney, and Robert Barry have all put pen to paper for the club's under 15s squad.
Cian Spillane has signed for City after being at Carrigaline United since he was six. In his time at United, he won multiple honours including the Cork Schoolboys under 12 Premier League. He also played for Cork United where he won the SFAI Subway under 12 Munster Trophy. 
He first signed for the Rebel Army in January 2019, where he would go on to score 23 times for the club's under 13s. Cian has also played for the Republic of Ireland, by taking part in national academy training sessions in the AUL Complex in Dublin. 
Ryan Delaney has signed for Cork City's under 15s after a number of successful years at Carrigaline United. The goalkeeper has been a rising star both locally and nationally, featuring in a number of Cork Schoolboys League and FAI Emerging Talent squads. In his young career, he won the Cork School Boys League under 14 Player of the Month for March 2019 and the under 15 Munster Championship. 
Mark O'Mahoney first came to Carrigaline United when he was five and quickly evolved into the Cork emerging talent squads. There, he became a big name in the Cork School Boys League before winning the Cork Schoolboys under 13s League Player of the Year. Mark's performances in Cork earned him a call up to the u14 National Development squad in Dublin. There, he won two Ireland caps in a double header against Holland, where he scored two goals. 
He made the move to the Cork City academy in 2019 and scored twelve goals for their under 15 team.
Robert Barry started playing football Carrigaline United when he was five as an outfield player and quickly became interested in goalkeeping. His exploits in between the sticks saw him called up to the Cork Schoolboy's team at under 12s and 13s, where he would help them win the Munster Cup. 
Robert has also featured on a number of Emerging Talent and Developing Talent programs for the Republic of Ireland. The young goalkeeper transferred to Cork City’s inaugural under 13 team in 2019.
