Carrigaline Girl Cuts Hair For Great Cause

~1 minute read

On December 7th Grace Crowley (Janeville, Carrigaline) cut 14 inches off her hair to raise funds for a little girl from Cork, Chloe Jenkins who on 17th March 2019 was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma a very rare and aggressive child cancer.

Chloe had surgery on September 20th where surgeons removed her left Kidney & 85% of the tumour. Chloe is currently receiving treatment in Germany for specialist proton therapy to target the remaining tumour entwined around her aorta & right kidney. Graces hair has been donated to the Rapunzel
Foundation.

Grace got her hair cut in Vibe Hair Salon, Carrigaline and raised a fantastic €1,050 and would like to thank everyone for their support and to Sarah O’Grady of The Ferry Boat Inn who was a great help to raise the sponsorship.
