The Amethyst Bar is a new Gastro Pub, frequented by both locals and visitors alike and renowned for its relaxed, spacious, and welcoming atmosphere. Built on the site of the old Amethyst Hotel which was associated with John Lennon and Yoko Ono and was the residence of the famous Irish landscape painter Paul Henry. We specialise in great food during the day and great music after dark.
