Achill's own circus school, Circus250.org, is to host 'Sunset Circus' camps for children and for adults in Achill during August.
Sunset Circus Camp for Kids
Sunset Circus Camp for 8-12 year olds starts on Wednesday 16th August, 5.30-7.00pm by the playground on Keel Beach, Achill Island. Learn to juggle, hula hoop and do acrobatics with real circus performers. All levels very welcome. Further dates 23rd, 24th, 25th and 30th August. Can come just one day or many! Cost only 5€ per session thanks to support from Department of Tourism. Sunset Circus Camp for Adults
It’s never too late to run away to the circus! Learn to hula hoop or juggle at Sunset Circus Camp for Adults, a relaxed one-hour class at 7pm on Wednesdays in August, at Keel Strand, Achill Island. All levels very welcome. A gentle and fun way to keep fit while watching the sun set over the stunning beach. Starts Wednesday 16thAugust. Small classes so booking advisable though not essential.
