Author Martina Murphy was in Achill recently to launch 'The Reckoning', the third in her series of DS Lucy Golden crime thrillers set on Achill Island. The story follows the investigation into the discovery of a body in a house in Dugort and, as with the previous novels 'The Night Caller' and 'The Branded', it is a real page-turner.
Martina called in to the Achill Tourism offices at Achill Sound to sign copies of her books. She revealed that a fourth installment has already been written, and that there has been interest in the series from TV production companies.&nbsp;
Copies of 'The Reckoning', along with the two earlier books in the series, are available from Achill Tourism's information offices in Achill Sound and Keel, and online from the achilltourism.com website shop.
