Inishbiggle is a small, unspoilt, inhabited island situated between the northeast of Achill Island and the mainland o the coast of County Mayo. Its name in Irish means "Vigil Island" or “Island of the Fasting”. The island is accessed by boat (curragh) from Gubnadoogha at Ballycroy or at Bullsmouth on Achill, next to the Village of Dooniver.
