White Cliffs of Ashleam

Looking for the perfect place to watch the sunset in Achill? It doesn't get much better than the White Cliffs of Ashleam viewpoint. From here, you can take in views of the ocean crashing against the cliffs and of the rolling green hills and small villages in the distance. The White Cliffs surround Ashleam Bay, whose highlight is a pebble beach (visible from the viewpoint) accessed by a long, winding road. There is plenty of parking on-site, as well as benches where you take a quiet moment and soak up the views.
