Achill Outdoor Education Centre

This Achill Outdoor Education and Training Centre has been providing outdoor education since 1971 under Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education and Training Board. We offer a wide range of activities – Surfing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Stand up Paddleboarding, Hillwalking, Rockclimbing, Abseiing, Orienteering and Archery. All our activities are designed to be fun, educational and develop a sense of adventure, respect for the environment and equip participants to become informed and active citizens engaging in making a more sustainable future for themselves. Our activities are designed to suit all ages ranging in ages from senior citizens to youth. Our instructors are all qualified, experienced professionals who have worked in the outdoors. Our courses aim to develop personal and social skills as well as adventure sports skills.
