Danny’s Old Shop

Located on the main road from Achill Sound to Keem Bay and a 5 minute drive from Keel beach, you’ll never be stuck for something to do. The nearest bar and cafe are a 5 minute stroll, and Dookinella beach is approximately a 15 minute walk. To avail of the stunning Achill light and views, the living quarters are situated upstairs. The space is comprised of an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. It also has a small office and a guest toilet. The bedrooms (master en suite, twin room and single room) are located downstairs. There is also a large bathroom complete with bathtub – perfect for a soak after a dip in the ocean! The two porches are ideal for storing any equipment you bring with you. While there is no TV, there is wifi throughout the house. Heating comes from a solid fuel stove, and there is an additional hot water heater. Fuel for the stove is provided. We also have electric heaters on timers so that the house is cosy as soon as you wake up! We provide free surfboard/bodyboard hire in the afternoons. Dogs allowed.
